Spirulina QUOgurt Marble Bowl

Spirulina QUOgurt Marble Bowl

Personally not a big fan of spirulina, because of the taste. However, many have told us they are a true believer / a diligent user of spirulina*, because it's THE superfood. That's why we put in extra effort in creating a smoothie bowl that incorporates spirulina, yet still making it tasty.
See if you agree!
Here is how!
1 serving
Prep Time : 8 mins
  • 1 tub QUOgurt (150g)
  • 1 frozen banana - slices make it easier to blend
  • 1 cup frozen spinach or raw spinach
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1 tsp spirulina powder
  • 1 TBLS flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • your favorite toppings
  • 1 scoop (~15-20g) plant protein powder of your choice
  • 3 dates (pitted) - if you generally like it a bit sweeter

    1. Set aside half a tub of QUOgurt.
    2. Add the remaining half tub of QUOgurt, and all the ingredients into a blender.
    3. Blend until very smooth.
    4. Pour green mixture into a serving bowl.
    5. Pour the half tub of plain QUOgurt into the serving bowl.
    6. Mix / swirl until green surfaces. Swirl until your desired marble pattern.
    7. Top with your favorite toppings. We used coconut flakes here to keep it simple.
    8. Enjoy!
